Additional Regulatory Presentations at the DTA Annual Meeting.
Rob Leibrandt, Deputy Under Secretary of Defense for Unique Identification and Information Assurance,
discussed the US DoD Item Unique Identification (IUID) program with interested individuals.
The requirement applies to new acquisitions meeting several criteria shown in the attached presentation.
We encouraged the senior management of the member companies at the Annual Meeting to become engaged to help DTA shape
our industry’s positions on regulatory issues. To date, we have had a few new volunteers.
