During DTA’s World Dental Trade Conference,
keynote speaker Stan Slap’s Hungry and the Hunted will explain how to create a brandable
customer experience and develop the ultimate competitive edge.
The conference will be held Feb. 22 at the Hyatt Regency McCormick Place in Chicago,
prior to the opening of the Chicago Dental Society Midwinter Meeting.
Every company sells both a product and a process — an experience that customers go through to
buy and use that product, Mr. Slap argues.
It’s the quality of the process that most influences your customers’ decision to advertise and sell for you — to
brand you.
In this myth-busting keynote speech, he will explain how to create a brandable customer experience,
get your employees to protect and promote it, as well as convince your customers to recognize it as intentional.
He’ll explain what doesn’t work, even though it’s most often tried,
what will work, and the ultimate key to creating a compelling, competitive and durable brand.
Registration is now available!
PLEASE NOTE that lunch will be provided, and that the presentation will begin PROMPTLY at 10:30 am.

DTA held its 18th World Dental Trade Conference (WDTC). This year’s theme revolved around innovation.
Richard Fishbane, Vice President of Strategic Dental Marketing, offered a snapshot of dental industry sales in 2010
and predicted growth for the dental industry for the remainder of 2011.
Key note speaker Chris Trimble, an educator from Tuck, Dartmouth’s School of Business, stressed the importance of innovation in industry.

Chris Trimble has dedicated the past ten years to studying a single challenge that vexes
even the best-managed corporations: how to execute an innovation initiative.
Chris first broke into the forefront of executive consciousness with his December 2005 book Ten Rules for Strategic Innovators – from Idea to Execution.
In June 2006, the Wall Street Journal published a Top Ten Recommended Reading list that included
Ten Rules alongside Freakonomics, The Tipping Point, and Blink.
Later that year, Strategy & Business magazine recognized Ten Rules as the best strategy book of year.
Chris’s career mixes rigorous academic research with hard-nosed practical experience.
His interest in innovation within large organizations developed early in his career,
when he was a submarine officer in the United States Navy.
He currently is seeing the payoff from his work - its real-world application - as he works shoulder-to-shoulder with
innovation leaders in several leading corporations. |
