World Dental Trade Conference
DTA's World Dental Trade Conference (WDTC) is a long-standing and well respected conference within the dental industry.
Held annually in Chicago immediately preceding the Preview Show, conference themes center on global issues that
affect the dental trade. Program speakers are recognized as experts in world trade issues.
The next WDTC will be Thursday, February 26th.

On Thursday, February 21, 2008, the Dental Trade Alliance and members of the international dental community joined together
for an educational symposium about
increasing sales in growing global dental markets.

Mr. Michael Howard
United States Export/Import Bank
Michael Howard is Midwest Regional Director for the Business Development Division
of the Export-Import Bank of the United States, a full faith and credit US government agency.
Ex-Im Bank's mission is to promote exports of US goods and services through programs including an
Export Credit Insurance program, a Loan and Guarantee program and a Working Capital program.
Mr. Howard holds a B.S. in Industrial Management from Georgia Institute of Technology.
He serves on many advisory councils and committees on international financing for small businesses.
Mr. Howard is an author of the "Florida Export Finance Corporation".

Dr. Arun Nayyar
Georgia Tech Center for Dental Technology
Dr Arun Nayyar operates a private practice of Prosthodontics in Atlanta, Georgia in addition to being the Principal Research Director and Clinical Director for the Georgia Tech Center for Dental Technology in Atlanta.
He has lectured extensively in India.
Dr. Nayyar has a special sensitivity and awareness of the needs of the Indian dental market,
and has strived for many years to share his knowledge with dentists, business interests and academia from all around India
and beyond.

Mr. Lazar Piro
Piro Trading Company
Mr. Lazar Piro is owner of Piro Trading Company in Turlock, California.
A US company established in 1984, Piro Trading specializes in marketing and
sales of medical and dental products throughout the Middle East and Africa.
A graduate of Pigier French School in Beirut, Lebanon in Business Administration,
Mr. Piro managed one of the largest dental dealerships in Lebanon for 17 years.
After coming to the US, Mr. Piro worked as International Sales Manager for Syntex Dental before starting Piro Trading Company.
He is considered a leading authority on dental markets throughout the Middle East.
