DTA GUIDE TO LEGISLATIVE ISSUES AND PUBLIC POLICY POSITIONS OF THE MAJOR U.S. PROFESSIONAL DENTAL ASSOCIATIONS

DTA has compiled the 2016 DTA GUIDE TO LEGISLATIVE ISSUES AND PUBLIC POLICY POSITIONS OF THE MAJOR U.S. PROFESSIONAL DENTAL ASSOCIATIONS, to provide members with a comprehensive resource. This document should act as a quick reference guide for DTA members so they can identify each professional association's stand on key political and public policy issues.  This guide provides a quick cross reference of the current key issues and stated positions for each association, as well as complete transcripts of their policy documents for those requiring more detailed information.

The DTA wishes to thank the following professional dental associations and their government relations offices for their help in compiling this guide:

American Dental Association (ADA); Academy of General Dentistry (AGD); National Dental Association (NDA); American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry (AAPD); American Association for Dental Research (AADR); American Dental Education Association (ADEA); and American Dental Hygienists’ Association (ADHA).
