“Once I graduate, I will surely continue to dedicate many weekends towards philanthropic events such as health fairs and community clinics. After all, my inspiration to become a dentist had its roots in the volunteer work I completed before dental school. I hope to one day motivate the next generation of dentists to be advocates for preventive care and emphasize the importance of maintaining lifelong oral health. In addition, I also want to support youth sports and art programs to help children develop good values and give them a creative outlet. For me, playing basketball and improving my artistic abilities has shaped me into a more well-rounded individual, and I hope I can enrich the lives of others in the same way,” Miya said.
