The Dental Trade Alliance is pleased to announce the creation of the DTA Leadership Institute. This educational program is a unique opportunity for DTA member employees to develop and enhance the critical leadership and management skills necessary to navigate the dental industry’s rapidly changing environment. Designed for senior and high potential emerging leaders, the purpose of the DTA Leadership Institute is to empower individuals as leaders within their own companies and within the dental industry.

The DTA Leadership Institute is comprised of a three-day session on May 22nd, 23rd and 24th. The curriculum provides practical learning experiences in areas critical to leading a successful business in the dental industry. While the Institute is tailored for the dental industry, there are important lessons to be learned from other business sectors related to strategy, innovation, execution, and sales and marketing. The Institute makes ample use of case studies, role playing, and planning activities to ensure immediate applicability. Participants will also have access to online, on-demand learning modules to enhance their professional development throughout the year.

Enrollment in the DTA Leadership Institute is limited to 20 participants each year. To qualify, participants must:

  • Be a director or senior manager
  • Have three or more year’s direct management experience
  • Have responsibility for a department (or larger) budget
  • Be accountable for achieving annual plan objectives
  • Be an employee of a Dental Trade Alliance member organization in good standing
